Fibercomm is looking for Computer Network Technicians responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing computer networks and will work under the direction of the Field Service Manager.

Responsibilities

Install, set-up, maintain, repair and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless networks, workstations, servers, routers, network switches, mobile devices, audio-visual and other peripheral equipment.
Configure, test and maintain computer and network hardware, software, operating system, drivers and other software applications.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade VOIP services.
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring clients from completing their work.
Provide backup and restore tasks and setup project specific backup/restore procedures.
Perform troubleshooting on various networks to ensure their long-term efficiency, swiftly and accurately.
Ability to work on various platforms including Windows, Linux, Mac.
Accurately record fixes and repairs for future reference.
Adhere to and promote company’s environmental, health & safety policies.
Help build and maintain positive relations within the team and customers.
Protect company’s values by keeping information confidential and safe.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred Technical Skill and Experience

Diploma in computer science, network administration, security.
