The Job

We are looking for an energetic Kitchen Helper to join our team. He/she will be responsible for assisting the kitchen staff. This includes preparing ingredients, cleaning the kitchen and its appliances and other related tasks.

Duties of the Kitchen Helper include:

·        Prepare meal ingredients for the cook, including washing, peeling, cutting and slicing ingredients.

·        Assist kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks.

·        Maintain clean kitchen area. Clean food preparation and storage areas.

·        Wash, sanitize, dry, and put away dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

·        Pack takeout orders for customers.

·        Store ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.

·        Take out the garbage and replace garbage bags.

Requirements for the role:

·        Completion of high school is required.

·        Experience is an asset.

·        Work under pressure.

·        Physically demanding, including bending, crouching, kneeling.
